Shrimp Fishing

Last Friday we went shrimp fishing with some fellow teachers from the school. It was very interesting and lots of fun. Noah caught the very first shrimp for our group and he also caught the biggest one. In all Justin and Noah each caught five. But if you ask Noah he will tell you he caught six and his dad only caught four. Either way it was a great time and they both want to go back again soon.

There were two large pools (the orange one) in a metal building. Each pool had lots of shrimp just waiting for Justin and Noah to catch them.

Justin getting instructions on how to get his pole ready for the fishing.

He is concentrating hard!

Time to start the fun!

Noah Caught the first one! Way to go Noah.

Noah is excited now and ready to catch some more.

The guy in the blue shirt is a Math teacher at Noah's school. His son (in the black shirt) caught the second one.

Since I don't fish I decided to relax and enjoy a Taiwan Beer... Pretty good.

Erin an english teacher. This was her third time to go shrimp catching but her first time to actually catch one.

Justin finally got one. Yea I knew he could do it!

What an ugly little critter

Noah got tired of holding the pole with his hands so he decided to use his feet!

The Math teachers other son caught a shrimp too.

Noah is turning into a pro!

One of the many animals running around Taiwan. This one was so nice and pretty but he had a broken tail :(

Last one of the evening!

Now for a late dinner! Can you guess what it is?

$15 ice cream cones!!! No way!
