Bus Adventure

Banana French Toast! So yummy.

Good Morning everyone it is 8am on Sunday September 16th which means it would be 7pm on Saturday September 15th in Arkansas. Yesterday we went on an adventure! We rode a bus from our city of Zongxing to Tautuan all by our self without a Taiwanese friend to translate. It was a very big deal for us because the buses don't have english route information and most people have very limited english. Our solution was to find some students to help us get on the correct bus. They are very easy to find because they all wear uniforms.

While in Tautuain we took Noah to McDonalds and then Justin and I went to another restaurant and ended up eating a Hotpot. They are very interesting. They bring you a pot of broth and a bowl full of veggies and meat (if you order meat) and you cook it yourself at the table. We also had a wonderful milk tea, mine was hazelnut and Justin's was the traditional Bubble Milk Tea. After lunch we went souvenir shopping for our family back home. Then Justin decided that we needed a fish for a pet because he NEEDS something to take care of. They tried to talk me into a puppy, which I admit was very cute, but we have Woody and we are technically homeless when we return to the states so another dog isn't the best idea.
